You must be quite a bit younger than me. Barney Miller and Night Court both had very bass guitar forward theme music. Catchy hooks. Sanford and Son too. Those shows were what was on TV when I was a kid. But then the only cartoons we had when I was a kid was the classic Looney tunes stuff and Speed Racer. There was no gay ass He-Man or fucking Power Rangers or whatever shit is passing for cartoons today. Land of the lost, Sigmund and the Sea Monsters, Johnny Socko, Ultraman, HR Puffenstuf.

My guess is you never heard of half that stuff young lady. :ROFLMAO:

Your guess is correct. Am not familiar with any of it. Looney tunes and Speed Racer I know as well as "of" He-Man/Power Rangers. The former because they aired way past their times/am into Japanese Anime, and the latter only because of pop culture/older sibling. For the most part if it's older than the late 80s I probably don't have much of a clue unless it was very big culture wise or Japanese, tbh.

It's all out there on YT if you are so inclined. Johnny Socko and Ultraman ( and obviously Speed Racer, which actually comes on here weeknights at midnight on MeTV Toon) are Japanese.

The theme music to those shows, Night Court, Barney Miller and Sanford and Son, should be pretty easy to find as well.
 
This is pretty much my introduction to Queen

 
So many. Just sticking with TV show themes as movies is a whole other ball of wax.

These themes I still tap my feet or fingers and jiggle around in my head all the time.
