What amps are currently in your stable?

How do you like the D.Kowalski Green and Red? They seem like pretty neat low watt amps, but I never got around to trying them. I was on his page about a month ago and saw he has a 10 watt class A called the Enigma that seems pretty interesting too.

I think they’re great. As 0.5 watt amps they don’t have the headroom or punch of a bigger amp, but they are great for practicing and recording. The Red that I have is an earlier version without the preamp out. The newer ones can be used without a speaker as just a preamp, which I’d like to try one of these days.

The Enigma does look interesting. I like that it’s available as just a chassis. I’ve been interested in it for a while, but between all the different voicings for it, and different variants for each voicing, I’m not sure what I would pick, if I were trying to buy more amps. Probably the Classic or Skyline, since I already have multiple high-gain Marshall-voiced amps.
