What are the biggest-sounding 2x12's?

Had an Avatar 212 (G12H30 and Classic Lead 80)
Have a Splawn 212 (Small Blocks) = 55w GB variety

The oversized 2x12 are almost as big as a 4x12. The speakers used can have a big effect. I'm using a Peavey 2x12 made in the 80's. G12K-85 and Mesa Vintage 30.

Good chance I will put two EVM-12L in this cab eventually. So I can use it for guitar or bass.

I was a carpenter for several years. After hauling drywall and roofing tile up and down ladders moving music gear is pretty easy.

I've been curious about a reasonably priced 2x12 vertical cab for our shows where a 4x12 cab is too much, are these any good?

Bogner OS 2x12 is the most common thing.
For sound quality and big sounding 2x12.
But in the end, nothing beats a 4x12 for natural depth and 3-D sound. Only 2 of those maybe. But then again, we don't live in the 80s anymore..

Have you tried Zilla cabs before?

Custom built cabs from the UK, i have two 2x12's with v30/creamback combo and they are huge sounding

For the mic, you're going to want a real Mesa V30 in any cab you get, save maybe a Suhr PT 2x12 with the Creambacks.
