What can I use that will connect to speaker cables?

I had a Mesa Boogie Roadster 2x12 combo made into a custom head shell and separate cab.

The cab still has the speaker wire there with the 1/4 tip connection.

I would like to connect another speaker cable to the 1/4 tip.

What would you suggest using to connect them?

Where can I find them?

Also, how safe will it be to connect speaker cables this way?

I have looked around online but I'm not having any luck finding the 1/4 "speaker" cable connector (TS female to female coupler).

Everything keeps coming up for connecting two "audio" cables.

I did the same with my Tremoverb 2x12 combo. I bought a speaker jack plate, removed the 1/4 plug, and wired it up to the speakers like any 2x12 cab. Then I fastened the jack plate to the side of the cab, and used some strong insulated wire as a twist tie to also secure it to the metal bar that runs across the back of the cab.

If you wanted to do it right you could strip back the tolex near the center of the rear panel, rout the right sized hole in it, then fold the tolex inside the hole, trim, and fasten it back, and install the jack plate. It would look less redneck engineered than mine.
