what do you think of this tone? JCM800

Day-um!! :rock: I have an 800 sitting around that could use a little something.

I have questions.

1. What kind of cab and speakers?
2. Can you add an FX loop?
3. Where are you located?
4. How much will it cost for a mod 5 and fx loop?

Jayzuz..........that sounds shit hot Mark. It's so close to an early EVH tone and playing that I wouldn't be able to tell a difference.

I know there are TONS of variables so settings mean next to nothing, but what are the knobs set at here (bass, mids, treb, prez, etc)?
 
sounds like great hot rodded JCM800 tone to me. I have a stock JCM800 2203 with 6550's and use an SD1 ad GE7 in front and I love it. I'm in need of a cap job though.

What did you do to 2204? Is it modded or are you hitting the front with something?
 
FAN- FUCKIN- TASTIC !. Love that tone, could you do the MOD 5 to Mesa Stiletto Deuce II? Im guessing no. different design than the Marshall and whatnot

Mod 5 or M5
Specs: Marshall 2203/2204, with 12000 spec low filtering, with a LAr/Mar PPIMV added, the 220k resistor after the pre-PI MV, and only a couple of other component changes like a 100pF cap instead of a 470-500pF cap at the 470K/470K voltage divider, a 25µF/25V across the 820 ohms cathode R of V2a, and .1 coupling caps instead of .022's after the PI plates.
