sounds like great hot rodded JCM800 tone to me. I have a stock JCM800 2203 with 6550's and use an SD1 ad GE7 in front and I love it. I'm in need of a cap job though.

What did you do to 2204? Is it modded or are you hitting the front with something?

its modified and plugged straight in.

i know this sounds really selfish....but i was looking over some of my bookmarked threads....and this was one of them.

in that spirit, can anyone explain something to me about filter caps...so, is it ok to go up or down in value, just not voltage rating when replacing/experimenting with them.
