What Poweramp are you using for your Axe FX??

I just ordered myself an Ultra and was looking into get a powered wedge. It looks like most people here are using two wedges in stereo? Is the sound from a single wedge still impressive? In any case, are the people running stereo wedges using passive wedges with the mono block rather than two powered wedges? It seems the mono block has two 8 ohm outputs, so it would have the same functionality, correct? The only disadvantage to doing this is that the mono block doesn't look too rack friendly, but that is of no concern to me.

Ya know...I have to make a comment here...
I am getting an AXE_Fx shortly, and own both a Marshall EL34 100/100, and just picked up last night a VHT 2902. Previously, I owned a 2:90 for the last almost 15 years or so.
I greatly preferred the Marshall power amp over the 2:90, as much as I wanted to like the Mesa...I only used it with the Triaxis, and once I sold the Triaxis, I sold the 2:90.
Now, like i just said, I got the VHT last night, and hooked it up to my old ADA MP-1 to test it out.
Now, the presets were dialed in with the Marshall power amp, and when I plugged into the VHT, it is a totally different tone...brighter, more treble for sure, less bottom end, even with the Depth turned up, much more clearer mids. However, it made my MP-1 sound more digital, rather than more natural...sounding more solid state, i guess...
The Marshall was immediate Evil...aggressive, grind, sounded more natural, in a way, slightly scooped in the mids, feels more like a head. Fun to play.
The VHT, seemed immediately a little stiffer, harsher treble or presence, less low end thump, but was clearer, and much more mids. I was wishing there was a way with the Voicing button in, to turn down the treble, but it's not possible. It requires a complete re-EQing in order to sound better, but, I was able to push more bass, and less treble in the MP-1 than I had before.

However, It got me thinking, why some people don't like the AXE-Fx live...when they are using the VHT's...perhaps it's the voicing of that amp with the AXE units? I wonder if anyone has experience with the AXE and the Marshall power amps...
I wonder if they would like them better...??

I believe Chris Broderick uses the Marshall 100/100 with his Axe-Fx.
