What string gauge for drop G#?

I'm thinking 10-60 maybe?
It will be on a 24.75" scale length.

60 wouldn't be nearly thick enough, especially for a short scale guitar. I use a 60 gauge for B standard. I'd guess you would need at least a 65 or 70 gauge?

I wouldnt even bother unless its on a 25.5" scale length or even longer... 24.75" scale length is never tight enough for me if its tuned below B

It looks like I need a .70.

Sikth plays a half step down with the low E string all the way down to G# So the 5th and 6th strings are both G#. So I don't know if you would call that tuning "drop G#". I think 60 would work fine. I would try that before getting crazy and filing the nut a lot. Sounds like a bad idea to do this with a floyd guitar also.

The guitar that I would be using does not have a floyd.
And yes that is what I mean by drop G#.

Yeah, he does, and the other guitarist plays a Blackmachine (25.5"), but I couldn't find what gauge strings either of them use when I searched awhile ago.
