Thanks to not having a life lately I've put a bit of time into watching on my telemavision. Sometimes the sessions go for over 9 hours!

Andrew and Chase are based.

Fascinating.

Anyone else here had much of a look?

My favorite Andrew debate was one he did a few years ago, maybe more, vs a feminist where he stated women only have rights because men give them rights / allow women to have rights; and men can take away those rights if enough men decide to do so. IIRC, it created a bit of storm at the time, but Andrew's logic was tight, so it disappeared into the memory hole - like most ideas that woke leftists are against, can't understand or destroy.

an example is Afghanistan; if you look at news, culture, politics, etc., from Afghanistan in the 1970s you will see it was very westernized, liberal, progressive for the Middle East at that time. The democratic government provided equal rights for nearly all. Once the Taliban took over, they eliminated nearly all rights of citizens, especially women's rights.

Gotta say, and this is a large part of why I created the thread, these podcasts are addictive.

For me at least. :dunno:

EDIT
Andrew was drinking premixed vodka during that last debate.

Based.

2 seconds of that shit is enough for a lifetime. I have better shit to do than listen to some dude argue with a sandwich maker.
Important to know how the other side thinks.

Even if you already know, it can be entermataining IMHO.

EDIT
One can pick up tips on how to debate these peeps / defend your own ideals too.

Not exactly a podcast but definitely like watching some Royal Institute talks....... Some real mind provoking stuff in general all the time I listen to one.

This is a new one. They do one or two every other month ^_^

Interesting thing about Faraday......

Growing up I always thought this guy was like a Quantum Physics Wizard or something but he was way before Einsteins time and a lot of his math was no higher than Algebra and he didn't even do Calculus...... amongst many things he discovered electromagnetic induction and pretty much how electricity moves between capacitors and made the first electric motor.....

Essentially modern life would not be possible without much of his contributions to the world/humanity if you think about it from the lightbulb to the internet.

That's pretty nuts..... dude didn't even do Calc or other higher maths and was able to do all he did in his lifetime including contributions to Maxwells Theory of Electromagnetism. That is pretty outstanding Imo.

This debate with Pxie was fantastic IMHO.

So much meat on the bone in this one.

Kudos to Pxie - she went the whole 9 yards (5 hours) without losing her shit, maintaining a good spirit right the way through. I can't remember ever having seen a feminist vs right debate where I came away thinking, "what a nice gal". Again, Kudos Pxie!

Just remembered:

English is her 2nd language, so kudos to her again.
