What's a good bridge pickup to go with a paf pro?

That said, I've grown to like the Tone Zone in our other guitarist's Charvel as well, but as you already have a pickup that's fairly similar to it, I'm at a loss actually.
I already had to route out just where the legs sit and its as low as it can go. I'd have to route the entire cavity and Im not sure I want to do that :aww:

Why not just swap baseplates?
The SS is a taller pickup. The baseplate is already resting on the body inside the cavity...its as low as it can go without routing the cavity deeper. I mean it sounds ok but it is still just too high to the strings and has a harshness to the sound I dont like. I raised the floyd to where the strings were way off the neck and felt like a cheese grater but it sounded warmer and less harsh. I thought about shimming the neck but the guitar plays so perfect where it is and I dont want to jack it up :aww:
