Bro that 5 gain stage Marshall major he made for that artist to this day sends chills up my spine. That amp was cooking. Haven’t heard an amp from him since that touches it. Some amps have mojo and others don’t even modded.

It was artist exclusive, I don’t think it’s on his channel. It was submitted to the artist (it was an upside down chassis test clip) and the video was once shared here. I think it was made for messhugah not sure though.

It was a Marshall major. The only one he’s done. I looked earlier and didn’t see it either.

Ahh when you said 2000 I thought you meant jcm2000. It is this model 2000 vid but it was when he had the chassis upside down tuning it on his bench. It sounded better in that vid than this one IMO. Regardless this is the amp and it’s so versatile and the gain is very clean which is hard to do as a high gain amp.

Yeah even in that clip it stood out to me over others. I like the recto mods I have by him more than the Marshall 5GS’s I’ve owned and tried, but still would be very intrigued by that one. I think I've maybe seen 3 of these for sale in the 16 yrs I've stalked used Marshalls...those 200w are super rare. 1981 only? I think?

Yes, I've looked for a while too (not for 16 years though lol) and no luck either. 250w's I think powered by 6550's. One guy on here said he doesn't think they sounded that great, but I'd still like to try one. It at least sounded to me in Herm's clips best of his Marshall 5GS builds

Yep, 250w...I'd heard they are very complicated and probably why they weren't that highly thought of. If I found one, off to mod it would go.....
