All I know is the brand was relaunched around 2015, they're of the Hiwatt lineage, and are Wizard level expensive. I don't see any talk about them whatsoever. So what's up with them? Are they the real deal or just an overpriced boat anchor?

Harry Joyce built about 40 amplifiers, give or take, while he was still alive. Those were built during the 90s.
They were Hiwatt style amps, not surprisingly, but with a bit more low end, clarity and gain then an old Hylight era Hiwatt.
These were built by Harry himself, and were absurdly well built, and they did sound amazing.
They weren't high gain, per say, but for those looking for a pure clean, to blues and classic rock, they were, not only unique, but also incredible sounding, with great note to note clarity and touch sensitivity.
I was fortunate to own two of them... serial number 7(50w, head + 4x12 in corder green) and serial number 23(50w head black tolex).
Some of the best amps I've heard and played.
One of Harry's best example of tone out there is the Black Crowes live album "Freaking roll... into the fog". Rich Robinson is using three Harry Joyce 50w heads on stage, and he sounds absolutely magical.
Ended up selling them during the pandemic to pay for rent and food.
Harry was the man responsible for building all the early Hiwatt amps. That's the reason why they were built like tanks. An amazing man, according to all that got to meet him in person, and a true British gentleman.
Have no idea how the amps that were built after Harry's passing are. Never tried one of them, so I can't comment on anything from that era.
