New 1x12 SV MKII is over $700. I found a used older SV for $350 and it's a 2x12

Played the 1x12 MKII at GC today and really liked it. It would be a good little amp for my cover band and for practice I think

The MkII has better effects that are fully adjustable. The models are supposed to be alot better as well. I have a modded MkI and I really like it. I have the Strymon SVPre in it which makes a very noticeable difference. I have tons of videos of mine on youtube if you are interested

yes more amp models, more control of the effects, and the biggest thing in my eyes is the ability to control the amp via midi, not just with the line6 footcontrollers like the 1st versions.

Really? So I could use my Behringer FCB1010 to control it?

you sure could  it has a built in wah as well that you can control with the behringer

Tom, also under the SVII FAQ, they talk about the fact that you can do upgrades directly through USB rather than having to diq with MIDI. NICE!
