What's your favorite pick Nylon, Ultex, Acrylic, Tortex ?

I have been using nylon a lot of years. Lately I'm into tortex again. I tend to use Jazz III.

I used to use the purple picks that Yngwie uses (though his are white). Then I went on a demo phase and bought a ton of different styles, thickness, and materials. After all of that, the Ultex material is AMAZING! It lasts forever, it's extremely brittle, so it has a SNAP that I have not heard from any other pick. The 1.00 is where I settled, the .73 is a good alternative if you're into funkier type stuff and want some flex.

since you asked favorite, I picked celluloid. I just like how slick they feel.

But I use Ultex, because they last. But all other synthetics get a weird frayed edge that I dislike. It's a trade off for longevity.

Dunlop custom shop Ultex sharp. It's a black version of the Ultex sharp with my band's logo on one side and my name on the other. It's really the James Hetfield Black Fang which is the Ultex sharp in black. .94mm

For the Last 25 Years I was using Dunlop Tortex .60mm (The Orange ones) 2 months ago I started using the Dunlop Tortex .73mm (the yellow ones) which are faster off the string with a little less flex than the .60mm ones. I love the .73mm tortex now to the point I have them in 3 different sizes. Jazz XL, Standard & The Triangle shape that Devin Townsend uses...I'm sticking with the standard.

however i've got a pile. I've got 0.94 Black fangs (ultex + black die), JP JIII (ultex +Stiffo), my Dava Jazz shape (derlin/red), Dunlop J3's red and red XL (nylon)
and pickboy reefer (worst name and graphic ever, most interesting material tho... Carbon Nylon) I used these for a day every time i change strings. NYXL string and Ultex Day one is a little much for the ears.

I use red Jazz IIIs but I too like the way Celluloid sounds. I haven't found a Jazz III sized Celluloid pick but I'd like to try one.
