Motley Crue-3 months ago. Nikki Sixx takes a couple zips of water and spits it out landing on the girl in front of me. She screamed "HERPES!"" and started crying  . She went to the bathroom and I took her spot.

SINGER FROM OPETH – “This next song I wrote the day after I sold my soul to the devil…”
Crowd cheers and puts horns in the air
Singer turns around to his drummer with a big stupid grin on his face

DEVIN TOWNSEND – shouting “I like to watch Antiques Roadshow every Wednesday night in my underwear…I’m a giant nerd…and I’m in a fucking heavy metal band!!”

GUITARIST FROM CRAZYTOWN
– Goes to flick his pick into the crowd
Pick turns into a boomerang and goes sailing back over his left shoulder

MIKE PATTON – Signaling to his roadie “I’m going to fucking kill you”. Mike had just hurled his mic at him too

Me and my mates go to a RHCP concert in 2000
My mate is wearing a hard construction hat
There happens to be a sign for “Village People” performing the following week at the same venue
In front of a large crowd, my mate takes off his hat, throws it into the ground and screams “Oh man I’ve got the wrong night!!!”

I was asked to leave a Buddy Guy show after laughing hysterically at the comedy show taking place on stage. David Lindley & Hani Nasser had just basically pwned them with nothing more than an acoustic lap slide and hand drums...Buddy had two other guitar players besides himself - Lynard Skynard Blues Review

I went to Carbondale Il see VH on the 5150 tour and I'm sitting there before VH went on and I smell hair burning. I'm like WTF? I tell me girlfriend I smell something like hair burning and she starts swatting the back of my head. My hair was longish but no super long and thank God I didnt get into the hairspray crap but anyway she said there was a cigarette butt in my hair. So I turn around to see who had put it in there and there was no one behind me but up a couple of rows was some dude sitting there all leaned back on the bleachers wasted and his dick hanging out the bottom of his super short jean shorts. I decided just to leave well enough alone.  Weird thing though is my girlfriend then said she wanted break up with me and went up there and sat next to the guy....... ok I made that part up.

Where do you live dude? I actually lived in Carbondale at that time. Had a gig that night so I missed the show. I heard Sammy and Ed started "Why Can't This be Love" in th ewrong key and had to stop the song. I still live in West Frankfort. Right up the road.

Schaf

Hey Schaf. I live right outside Paducah KY. Yeah I remember them messing it up now you mention it.  An old friend of mine John Brown has a bar up there now.

My first concert was Rush - Grace Under Pressure. I was 13 at the time. My dad took me and my two brothers. Dixie Dregs with Steve Morse opened. Awesome show!

We were on the floor 12th row. We started to leave and my older brother (who was 15) accidentally brushed up against some dude in the row in front of us. The guy got a bit aggressive (most likely drunk) and demanded an apology. My brother turned around and pushed him into the 9th row. It took out about 12 other people standing on their seats. The dude got up and started pointing in my brother's face. My brother started laughing while my dad stepped between them. Great first experience!

It was cool having a dad who would go to these shows with us while I was young. My dad has been to 3 Rush shows and one Van Halen. Very cool!

I have lots of funny stories. I have been to over 50 shows and don't have the time right now. Some good stuff in this thread.

18 years old going to a Van Halen show. Chugging Bud's in the parking lot in downtown Cincy right next to a really nice restaurant. Starting taking a wizz on the side of said restaurant and notice a really nice red Porsche out back. That car looks just like the one Pete Rose drives in the Gold Star Chili commercials.

Car screeches up to me with the window down. "WTF ARE YOU DOING?!? GET THE FUCK AWAY FROM MY RESTAURANT!"

Yep. It was Pete Rose threatening to kick my ass.

Yeah, I go to Paducah every once in a while. I've known John forever. He had the music store there I went in to a couple of times. He really supports the local original music scene around ere. For better or worse. Not a lot of fans do but every once and a band around here will get a pretty good following. I go to his place every now and then. It's in Marion and I work there. His bar has an interesting name......"John Brown's".
