Been playing the same pick for over a month now ... no wear as if yet.

then you don't play much huh? lol

I do need to get more time in ... still working them scales ...

Ultex Jazz III for fast stuff and leads.

Ultex Sharp .90 for rhythms and bass. This one lends a distinct tone and attack that makes it perfect for these applications.

Live, I usually have both with me.

I like a smaller pick with a good tip. I've found the Stagg 0.92mm that I really like. I also like the Ernie Ball Heavy when I can find them. They are smaller that a standard Fender pick but feel like somewhere between a Fender Medium and Fender heavy in thickness. Stiffness may be a better way to describe it than thickness

2.0mm purple stubby but I need to find something else as I am hearing lots of pick lately and not liking it.

I've been using Tortex Greenies for a while now, but lately since bumping up the string guages I am using I go through a pick once a week even given how infrequently I play nowadays. I think it may be time to upgrade to Tortex Blues instead.

I've played the dunlop gator grip, black, 2.0mm for over 10 years. I like them, and they are comfortable, but lately, I can't help to think I'm losing some top end, and chirp that I might be able to get from either a lighter or different material pick. I've been thinking of trying the V pick -- I've heard great things about them.
I used the black 2.0 for ever. Try the Ultex Sharp 1.40..

I use these bronze picks, modified to be slightly smaller like the Dunlop Gator Grips....and a more rounded tip. :uzi:

i've used .73 dunlop ultex for a long time....been trying out the 1.0 ultex lately and liking it a lot...might switch to 1.0...i think i like it better.

The Red Bear picks are the best I have found to date. Been playing the same pick for over a month now ... no wear as if yet. Best sounding pick I've played. I use the Lil' Jazzer model.
