@PLX You do know I'm laughing at YOU..................what is that as it looks like an automatic DOG FEEDER..............if it ain't........it SHOULD be.

You're a hobbyist and you know you don't hold a soldering iron to John Suhr................correct?

Suhr does BETTER product than ANYTHING you can copy...................fact.

@PLX ...............with YOU on this forum how can I be.

You snarky old curmudgeon........................BTW: when is the end of the planet?

I have to ask you a sensible question.................is your life really worth saving by you living off the grid and being miserable and snarky all day long? My money says it ain't.

You could have just said "Yes".

:ROFLMAO:

That power resistor is WAY! bigger than it needs to be. What is that thing, 1000 watts?
That's a funny story. Back in the day (circa 2005) on the old MetroAmp forum, there was a guy named Mark Abrahamian a.k.a. Rockstah.

He was trying to figure out the resistive load EVH used early on, that was made by Jose.

He took (what I recall) was an 8Ω, 100W power resistor and bolted it to a board, then ran his amp into it.

Good times !

Rockstah = RIP ages ago.

Could play VH and have VH's sound 95% to a tee.................

Not sure what the joke is unless the board burned a bit.
Resistors are suppose to get hot as all shit. Your toaster is nothing more than a resistor.

Here's the voicecoil for a 12" Greenback. Wanna guess how hot these get after 10-15 mins?
Just grab the speaker magnet to find out - that's not only the engine but also the heat sink.

So I'm not sure what the joke is.

Yeah, I get that.

Don't play that game.
I've provided some context and asked a question.
Either answer if you can or don't.

Did the board catch on fire? Is that the ha ha?

Look, Donnie.

Ya gotta accept the fact that not everyone reading this is as dense as you and Bag Man.

:cool:

@PLX Funny thing is WE know about you, however, you know NOTHING of me. You have no idea what I know and what I don't.......I gave you a hint some days ago but it went over your head............as usual..............and thank fuck.

Still snarky I can see....................why don't YOU answer Donnie's question.

@Donnie B

I get it. You talk the talk really good. Just got ya stumbling a bit here, eh?

Calling the Suhr RL a toy and/or piece of crap was a dead giveaway as to your experience level.
