Which 2x12 cab? Vader, Splawn or other...

I've had Genz-Benz G-Flex and a Splawn OS 2x12 cabs. The Splawn cab was very high quality, but my Genz-Benz always kicked it's ass. Tried a few different speakers in the both the Splawn and G-Flex.

My G-Flex is an older model, back when Lynch endorsed them. I'm using Hellatone 30/60 speaker mix. I love it!!

Ok. I didnt have much time with the vader last week cuz UPS took forever getting there lol. Anyway. its fucking ridiculous. Very brutal and tight sounding. Tighter than my buzzbomb. Has a more brutal tone overall, given everything being the same in the rig (settings, guitar) and swapping the cab. I cut my hand on the rhino lining while I was unpacking it. That shit is tough as steel balls. Im not sure about it not recording well...Ill have to test that out sometime soon....hopefully Ill have time this week, but Im still cleaning out the old place, so we will see. I love the cab, and I love the tone. I think it may pair up better with my 6505 that my JSX, but I havent had a chance to try that out yet.

I loved mine with the 6505+ when I had one of those, probably my favorite head/cab match up with the vader in terms of all the amps I have had.

Try out the Port City 2x12. I've heard nothing but great things from people who use that cab. Many describe it as good as a 4x12.

This FTW!!! If you can find one to check out you will not be disappointed....guaranteed...

I have a budget of $500 USD for a loaded cab.
The 2x12's I'm currently considering are either a Vader or a Splawn.
Tell me which 2x12 cab you'd get and why.

Wow thanks for the input guys.
I'd love to try some of the suggestions but they are just out of my price range.
I'm leaning towards the Splawn Standard 2x12 with Small Block speakers.
Just waiting for the Aussie dollar to pick up again before I place my order.

I love when that happens.
For all the shitty gear purchases and mistakes we make in our tone pursuit, it's those moments when something is just an absolute perfect fit that make it all worthwhile.

Damn I wish the HellBabies were still available.
Should have pulled the trigger when I had the chance.
