Which Amp Should I Get?

I play thrash/death metal style, and I'm looking for a new amp. I want it to be an aggressive, pissed off sounding amp. I love punchy, growling mids, and I need something nice and tight, that would showcase any mistake made so to speak; I can't stand mushy sludgy amps!

I'm trying to stay around $2,500 or less, and I want to buy new, not used.

Current Amp Candidate List:

--- Top Three ---

Bogner -
Uberschall Twin Jet

Mako -
Mak 2 with Makoplex Pre-amp

Mesa -
Mark V

--- Other Possibles ---

Peters -
Professional Series Dual Channel with HALO and CHIMERA Pre-amps

Rivera -
K Tré

Anymore suggestions, recommendations, or advice for me?

Thanks guys, but I've played the Uberschall and didn't like it much; but maybe I should try it out again with the latest revisions.

I just got rid of my Savage 120, it was just too compressed.

IMO A Cameron CCM-100 Would be the Ultimate...

But... A HERBERT'S Not Bad Either!

Is Mark actually producing any of these?

Ahhh,

Yea kinda... There have been some deliveries of CCV's recently... I have not seen any CCM's go out, but I just think that it's because all the Pre-Orders were CCV's There is no plan to drop them I know. And man talk about MASSIVE... The CCV is OFF THE CHAIN!

I only got a very brief demo of it at the NAMM show. Not enough to be of any real use in judging it. I wonder if he's going to have a demo both again this year?

Probably not... Why Advertise when you already can't keep up with the demand?

Have you listened to a HERBERT? I LOVE MINE... And you can get one easy... Are you from the North East? I know Nick at the Axe Palace has one in stock, and on display... You could demo it.. He's real knowledgeable too! + I know the one he as is loaded with 6550's and THAT IS WHAT YOU WANT!!!

you can't go wrong with Splawn if you want tight. It'll show the smallest of mistakes, its a brutally unforgiving amp!

BUT, I don't think it'll have the gain you need. They really don't have THAT much gain compared to an Engl or something, but if you don't mind using a boost, go for it

Try the following...

Elmwood M90
Engl Powerball or Fireball
Diezel Herbert
VHT Pitbull 50 or 100CL
Bogner Uberschall

The more I look into this new Ubershall - Twin Jet, the more I like it!

VHT, I personally like the deliverance

Mako Dorado

Titan

Peters Chimera

 why didn't i think of that.

The tightest amp's I've played was the vht ultra lead, diezel herbert & vh4. Those 3 amps have a growl that I have not found in other amps.
