Which cable do you trust to run your rigs?

Monster are some of the worst cable I've ever owned. Muddy and short lived.

I don't think Mogami gold is anything special. Gimme a pro-co, a rapco, or a nice gold jacketed Dimarzio and my crystal lattice will remain unbroken.
I actually have the gold jacketed Dimarizo cable and I hate it! I'm about to check out the rattlesnake cables.

Digitech. Excellent cables. 3 levels I usually just buy the mid level ones, lifetime warranty and I have used them a bunch and zero issues.

I need to check these out. It's both Monster and Mogami for me for years.
Wait for a sale, they happen pretty often. The owner Hank, makes sure their customer service is top notch. Real impressed. Can even look at old colors they’ve done and stuff and they’ll usually bust them out.

The more expensive cables usually have lower capacitance. Less high end loss. It is most important for the first cable in the chain. Some high end cables can be a little too bright with some amps or guitars. I think a lot of players are used to and like the slight high end roll off. But sometimes those highs might really matter.

I like the 18AWG Canare GS-6 more than Mogami and Switchcraft more than Neutrik. Best-Tronics sells Canare as the Boutique series. The Best-Tronics 20AWG #CA0446 has a really low capacitance and is not too expensive. That Livewire Elite you mentioned looks pretty decent but they don't post the specs.

I just use whatever is handy. As long as it has a good shield in it and isn’t noisy Im good.

Mogami gold/Mogami platinum.. if you need help getting cables I know a guy. 😶‍🌫️ dm me.

I started making my own. I have a spool of oxygen-free copper wire and a box of Amphenol ends. They solder up nice. I now make my snakes whatever length I want. I think one is 33 feet, with one cable that is two feet longer to reach the front of the amp. They are good sounding cable to begin with, but everything I do is buffered properly, so the cables don't impact the tone if they could.

I've got a bunch of the D'Addario Classic Series instrument cables and have been happy with them. Quality is good for the price, and I can usually find whatever length & plug orientation I need for a specific use.

Recently upgraded to BTPA at @The~Kid recommendation. Well built, reasonably priced and sound good (y)

I used to use the Monster cables when they were fairly cheap years back. They started failing after about 10 years.
I moved to the D'Addario American stage cables and they have been amazing, reliable and most of all durable. You need decently stuff when playing live and these have been outstanding. Haven't had one break yet. I have a pile of D'addario points so I used a bunch up to get them.

BTPA and Mogami are great as well.

Right on these are probably better than RattleSnake or Mogami or whatever other leading brand short of a few others in the market. Wouldnt say so or recommend if they werent and a great value and amazing quality in general.
