Which high-end high-gain amp would you choose?

I havent played a Mark V but I just told a friend that the Mark IV with this boost a friend sent me is the best metal tone I've ever had. I dont know why I waited so long to get a Mesa Mark but I typically favor Marshall tones. So in my mind a good Marshall type amp which you already have and some sort of Mesa/5150/etc type amp and you are all set. I just sold a 5150 a few weeks ago but I was surprised at how much I really enjoyed it.

I have a mark IV and it's the best amp I've ever tried. IMO it doesn't need a boost. Here's what mind sounds like

yeah mine doesnt "need" a boost but I just got a new boost that Im really digging so Im putting it through the paces with my different amps so I can give some feedback to the builder. The Mark IV is just what I want for Thrash/Death metal. I just got mine back from Mesa and Im really thinking about getting rid of another amp to just have the Mark IV and a hot rodded Marshall.

I'd get that Super Lead Jose Modded by someone and go with it. You would have the Marshall spirit in it with a modern twist.

I have mixed a Rectifier with just about everything I've ever recorded. I feel like every great guitar tone is two amps, and one is a Rectifier. You already have the other. Mix those and sound like Tool.

SLO cannot imitate the Dual Recto tone most people use: modern mode. However, the Dual Recto can get very close to SLO lead tone on red channel vintage (especially with the loop off).

The SLO still has more low end chewiness to it and more clarity at lower gain. No mode on the 2-channel Rectos can get close to SLO crunch.

Here's a basic comparison I made. Different tubes, etc. All on lead channel. Order is SLO-Recto-Recto-SLO.

I second the Fryette Deliverance. I had a slo and a diezel, and my avenger is better than both. Recently played a Bogner twin jet, and that was the best metal amp i ever played, but the loop did not agree with the zuul.

I've owned/played the Diezel, Mesa and the ENGL.
I think I would've passed on all of them and bought a KSR really
