I picked up a SIG:X recently and the tubes came broken unfortunately. I read a while ago that Fryette said to use sovteks but they've been discontinued. What's a nice pair of KT88s right now?

I believe that they used Shuguang KT100's earlier on too.
I actually liked the Svetlana 6550C in my 2/90/2 better than the Sovtek KT88's it came with. Might be worth a look?

My Sig x was serial #8, and it came with sovteks. But I alway mess with tubes so I ended up liking the shuguang kt88-98 the best, and they don't break the bank.
