Playing was very cool, but I don't think it sound very close to the original. It's not smooth enough and seems to be missing mids?

Before I recorded it I put the original WL song on a stereo track in PT's with the project and a/b'ed. Of course it's not perfect, I just wanted it somewhat similar.

My ears are not that great to go for perfect.

Just like my playing, I wasn't expecting it to be an exact clone.
It was close enough to make me smile
I was using an Uber sim...so I really wasn't expecting to be the "same"...just wanted it to be fun

This was no way a "Look at me I can get the exact same sound as the original record."

I want you to get the same tone as the album... This way when I buy one I won't have to work for it

vito used for hungry? i read in a guitar magazine along time ago that for that album
.. this was way before he was using the ADA mp-1. It was an alder fender strat with a JB
humbucker in the bridge into a ts-9 into a modded Marshall plexi.

i may be wrong but its an ESP strat w/ floyd and JB in bridge and dimarzio single coil in neck....Ibanez TS9 into JMP 2203 amps and a Roland jazz chorus for cleans.
i like Vitos sound on Light & Thunder and i'm pretty sure thats a Soldano slo and Steinberger w/ EMGs ,,,well it sounds like it and i owned a ADA w/ carvin pwramp and it never sounded like that
