Hey James. It looks like mine didn't line up to good at the start. If you want to remove the first bit where I am just palm muting single notes you can let the solo before mine finish.

I watched the second vid, but it starts with you editing solo 12, so maybe that is why I didn't hear mine if it is solo 10. I don't think the first 11 solos are heard on the second video are they?

Caught a few seconds of mine. #7 on the first video. The "two solo thing" as James put it. There are some AMAZING players on this board and I can't wait to hear em all rip it up! I like my solo and think it fits the song well, but I'm just a young'n(sort of) and I gots some more learning to do from some of the mega-shredders here!

although i didn't send jimmy L a solo, figuring it would be a 10 hour song and not wanting to play up against the monstrous likes of marky/curt/ant, i tried my hand at it today using the axe-fx digital out straight to garage band:

tyler strat on the bridge holmes 450 pickup->cable->axe-fx plexi with tube drive pedal->stereo 4x12s with one 30 watt and one metal cab and cab air added at 2780hz->para eq cut at 160 and a hi shelf boost at 2532->dynamic delay/verb and a parallel octave below pitch shift blended in

sp/dif out of axe to 10 dollar radio shack sp/dif to optical converter to mac G5/garage band->itunes convert to mp3
