Mark Cameron is hands down the player to do the video IMHO.

It ought to be someone who is doing the demo out of love and first hand knowledge of the amp and not some hired gun doing so for a fee. Also, we all know that the ccv can do high gain metal stuff but I am curious to see how it handles other mid gain tones such as vh or gnr , acdc, etc. How about playing some different guitars also and use different eq and settings. I want to hear if the ccv can do the modded marshall thing like his hg jose or aldrich mods. A good well thought out demo can be a major selling point and advertisement for the ccv.

We will be doing all of that and nobody has more love or first hand knowledge of the CCV than Mark Cameron himself and we will be recording him going all through the amp and he is a fabulous player. Mark Day is one of my best friends in the world (not just a hired gun   ) He truly digs the amp as well. We will do our best to bring some really good demos of the CCV and we will also be recording a bunch of Friedman demos as well and maybe even a AXE II tutorial if we get one in time for the shoot from Cliff.

 YESSS videos of Mark Day with the Friedman's too!!! awesome stuff!

I would think the more men that could get first hand experience with Marks toy the better..

kidding .I voted MD but all mentioned are good Pete thorn was another good choice IMO

Whoever does it, I'd just like to see them explore the amp and all the tones that can be gotten from it. For all the CCV clips I've heard, I only know that it sounds exactly one way.
 I posted VH style tone clips, clean clips, Yngwie style tone clips, Zakk Wylde style tone clips and my typical heavy stuff. You need to listen to more than just one clip

hmm yea ---- i go through everything in these vids....

For demo's, they shouldn't be men that play with too much 80's cheese, 4 cabs simultaneously or too much weedly weedly. Maybe a man that likes straight-up raw metal.

;) ;) ;)

I'd like to hear all sorts of stuff used and played when demo'ing the CCV100. Different effects, different playing styles, different levels of gain. And beyond just 80s stuff!

I am bringing the 3 chords I know to the party.

Earache My Eye? Man I love that song! "Mama talkin to me tryin to tell me how to live"

I think you should let me demo it. I record guitar tones for various bands as a part of my services. Aside from that, I have several amps from different builders (Fortin, Bogner, Baron, EVH, and Boogie), and I'd say that's more of a variety than most people around here. I can also play death metal, 80's metal, and classic rock.

I'll make you a deal Brad; ship me the prototype, I'll make demos, and then I'll pay for shipping back to you.

Greg

I'd like to hear/see a few demos from a variety of players.

Pete Thorn flat out rocks, and I feel he lets the true character of each piece of gear shine through rather than giving everything "his" sound like some other guys.
Mark Cameron is still an obvious choice, as he knows the amp better than anyone else, and can play his ass off.
Greg records very high quality demos and in a wide variety of styles
JMR would be a great choice too IMO. His Friedman Marsha demo still makes me giddy.

My bet is that if Mark plays the CCV100, it will sound like this clip, and that is a compliment, if it sounds better, I'll get in line!
