Glad you made it! It's crazy how it zapped some people but not others. I had it 3x, minimum, and it never amounted to anything other than I lost my smell the first time and everything smelled like a food trap in a restaurant dishwasher for almost a full year. My bro got it once and his doctor told him "how long have you had asthma?" He said "I don't have asthma". The doctor told him "you do now" and prescribed him an inhaler and stuff.

Had Covid twice ....... the first time ... a few months after it hit the states ... that one almost took me out ..... the second time was like a real bad flu / cold ..... and who knows what that did to me .... I've been active my whole life .... played hockey in a Men's League till I was 37 or 38 ...... then I biked a shit ton .... sometimes 100 miles a week ....... but here I am at 55 going WTF ?!?!?!??!

Damn bro… yeah that first strain killed 4 OGs I knew I got the second one & that bout took me out. Nearly escaped ventilator.. Could barely walk to the bathroom without my O2 level dropping to 86/87. My 3rd daughter decided to be born right in the middle of me being sick what a beautiful nightmare lmao. Hockey!? Intense sport, I wish lol. Cant ice skate without lookin crippled.. Been to plenty of local games tho yeah no matter how active or healthy you try to be the ticker has a temperament of its own. Just have to adapt & do what you can.. As long as the ding dong goin strong you’ll be good

if you can get them / cook them with out frying as part of the process .... they're not so unsafe .... that fry o later oil though .... nothing will put mud in your fuel line faster ...

at home I bake them 80 % of the way there ..... then I put them over the coals the whole time glazing them with some concoction the rest of the way ....

The recipe I've been making constantly is with chicken thighs. I'll de-bone them, pat them dry, salt and pepper, and put them in a cold cast iron pan skin side down. Put the pan on medium low and let them cook slow and low. As you render the fat out of the chicken skin, start to baste the top with the hot oil (sometimes I'll add butter). Cook them 90% through on the skin side until the skin is crispy as fuck and then flip them. They only need a minute on the other side while you baste the skin and keep it crispy.

Then, after you remove the chicken, add a minced shallot to the pan. If there isn't much oil left, I'll add butter here to. As those render, I'll add an acid to deglaze the pan (most use wine, but I use ACV because I don't drink). Add a minced clove (or two) of garlic and black pepper. Add Worcestershire sauce, a good stone ground mustard, and the drippings from the resting plate and incorporate before adding a lot of heavy whipping cream. Cook that down until the sauce is thick and serve that with the chicken.

You'll never have a better chicken meal than that.

I tested the Big Stones last night ,,,,,,,,,,,, INSANE !!!!

Fucked up the PCB though ..... the circuit works perfect ...... but I did the Math wrong on the toggle placement on the PCB .... so it won't fit in the enclosure ... working on the revision right now and will have new boards by the end of next week ....

I built one anyway to test it outside the enclosure .......

I pre ordered some enclosures that will be in next week ( right now I have three available ) .... so I'm thinking barring any other issues I will be able to start shipping by the Monday after ... 06/15

I much prefer baked, bbq’d, & smoked wings too. I try to avoid the plague of plaque as much as possible.. + it makes me feel like absolutely crap whenever I eat fried stuff lol. Ima need that concoction recipe

It mostly has to do with me having top mounted jacks ..... I prefer the top jacks over having a battery ... kind of can't do both depending on size of the circuit / enclosure

I would take that trade off anyways. Not only are top mounted jacks better for pedalboards, but batteries piss me off. Nothing is worse than lugging a heavy ass pedalboard around for months only to realize that there were batteries in the pedals that were unnecessary. That's why I have the habit of opening up every pedal I get, no matter what I get or where I get it from, just to double check.

Had to learn that the hard way. I was redoing my board once when I started going through all the pedals while it was all apart. I found like three batteries on there that I didn't need. It was like I took a pedal off.

Having batteries in all your pedals, on a medium sized board, is like having an extra Phase 90 on there that you can't use.
