Working on the graphics for the 20th Ann Phaser Pedal

Did you still go with the hammered finish, or just the regular? I wonder how the hammered finish would look with the glow in the dark. Would they even do that?

they don't have a glow in the dark hammer finish ..... I just did the glo in the dark finish for mine ... the proto ....

you can get what ever you want Bezo ... I know you like those hammered finishes

The UFOs and easter island dudes combo sounds killer too...

the more sides that are printed on will increase the cost of the pedal 20 bucks per side

I do like hammers...

I think the glow in the dark version is going to come out sweet. That'll probably be the one.

I get the enclosures powder coated .... CNC Drilled and UV Printed at the same place .

changing the color of the enclosure isn't a big deal if people want a certain color .....

I can offer the graphic done in white or black ink .....

but to keep changing the graphic itself is time consuming ...... and trying to get even 5 people happy with one thing just doesn't happen ... so I usually call it quits on the design once I'm happy with it and have received some feedback

it's expensive but worth it IMO ..... the final product is as professional looking as it can be .

I don't think my stuff looks like it was built in a basement workshop ... but it is !

TBH you’re being extremely reasonable for a hand built analog pedal.. I’ve seen tons of crap DSPs thrown in a nice enclosure expecting to fetch half a stack up to several hundred dollars..

Is it just me, or does it feel way too busy with all the fonts, the images, and all the switches, and dials?

Like instead of the 20th Anniversary Rig Talk on top it could be done on the front instead of the top, or maybe put Big Stones on the front with the two Griffin heads on either side of it?

I tried to keep everything on the top ...... I would much rather put the 20th logo on the front ..... but then it's a 220 dollar pedal .... instead of 200

the switches aren't going anywhere .... the PCB has been laid out and sent to fabrication

I would do what ever at least five people could agree upon ..... but the more choices I give the less of a chance that is of happening ...

unfortunately I can't make everyone happy with one design ........

I figured that might be the case.

Otoh when this is already a hell of a lot of pedal at a killer price $20 more for a much cleaner looking pedal would not stop me if I was gonna buy one.

Being honest I have two awesome phasers right now, three if you count the analog phaser in my Echolution 2D, so I'm not one of the potential buyers.

The 20th logo is in the right spot. The canvas for a pedal is on top not the sides… Sides are typically shadowed by neighboring pedals if using a board… Front is ok to add some detail to but really the top is where the graffiti goes. This is a phaser btw super clean, nice, & tidy doesn’t exactly come to mind when you’re fuckin with phase just my .02 I’m down with wherever the design ends up. Just being able to have potential input is pretty dope.
