I got a good deal on a used Fireball 100?.

It was the main amp on my radar. They're nasty, aggressive, and unique. Great built-in gate too. I loved the 25 watter, the Artists I've owned, as well as the Retro. I was close to getting a Savage, but I wanted to stay under $1500.

I would get a rectifier. If you already have something Marshally....that and a mesa together are instant epic slut banging metal. imo....dudes tremoverb on here would be tits....just sayin....
I considered it, but I hate their master volume. It's either beehive or holy shit on the volume. I had a Multi-Watt that I absolutely loved, but I only got to love it when nobody was home. And a volume pedal in the loop didn't work for shit, works like a charm with the Friedman. But, I attribute that to a better FX loop.

Hell, I bought a Mini Rectifier last year, and it was loud AF on 1. I love those amps too. But, same thing - it went from zero to holy shit.

I’d grab a 3 channel Dual Rec and send it to
JT amps for his modifications for it.
The dude worked at Mesa decades ago so he
knows his way around Mesa’s.
The mod is cheaper then that Fortin TS9.(not including the shipping)
I can’t even begin to type how KILLER my amp turned out.
The EQ functions with more common normality.
The money channels now are either Badlander or Dual Rec or blend it in for a fat punchy as hell Badlander/Dual meltdown,
I heard dude’s mention installing a bass boost in the Badlander, -I suggest you don’t do that!,
Well here’s their answer.
I almost am reluctant to flip it out of standby because it whips any amp’s ass that follows
(for that sound)
