Mesa will sell you a replacement metal toggle switch if you really want the amp...although I wonder what the back story is on why it was replaced.

just a heads up man, I was at gc warwick ri yesterday and they have a Triple rec new on clearance blowout for $1k if you're looking for one. Fan was loud on it but you could probably talk them down a bit more PLUS have a return policy if you didn't like it.

I just bought a triple rec Friday at GC Nashville for $999.00, it is being transferred from a New Hampshire store. Should be here Wednesday.

No, the one in warwick is a new old stock from when they blew out mesa. Just a left over.

If it's new, there probably is no return available. That's at least what they told me at the GC local to me. They want them out the door, period. Warranty is covered directly by Mesa if there's a problem, but you cannot return them to GC in 30 days like typical GC purchases. Strangely, when GC first started blowing out their Boogies, I made an all-cash offer on a multi-watt Triple, but they turned me down (to be fair, they came down to within $75 of my offer, but I stuck to my guns ). I ended up with a two-channel Triple that I love, so I'm no longer interested in the multi-watt, but later I saw the same amp discounted to hundreds below my offer. Oops for them, I guess.

HAHA, I almost bought that a few days ago but I found a Choadster in a local store for $999 NEW. Skeptical I was at first but after tweaking it, boosting it, playing it through my Bogner cabinet.........it kicks ass. I didn't realize that a Roadster could do so many tones as long as you tweak it to NOT sound bad.

NOT TRUE. I just bought a new Roadster and the normal return policy is in place. If anyone told you otherwise they were full of it.

That's interesting.
I wonder if it's actually true with you GC store told you.

GC is closing out Egnater products as well.
I went in to get a Mesa combo a 5:25 or 5:50. But they checked everywhere and non left.
The manager then asks if I'm interested in an Egnater Vengeance at a fantastic close out price. It was demo.
Originally they sold for $1100, I got it for $500!

The point of this is that I had full GC return on the purchase even though it was a demo and being a close out.
I also bought the GC extended warranty for it. 3 years of bumper bumper and accidental damage coverage.
So, GC had no problem giving me the same returns and warranty they give all new products, even though my amp was a close out and demo.

Maybe call GC directly at their 800 number and verify the info.
Could be something different between Mesa and Egnater close out, though I don't know why.
