i mean really? why did i sell that shit?

tell me below,

ahhhhh

You sold it because there was something you didn’t like about it and sought something better.

Yep they are killer amps , super reliable
Easy to dial in and Dave was a class act

So hard to not buy one when they pop up. That gator tolex snot watt in the classifieds keeps screwing with my head.

Lol you and me both but Brown gator is a little too different

I had an MII and the B60 killer heads toured w em for years from hot to 20 below tons of gigs with crappy power where my pedalboard failed but the Baron nope just unplugged every thing else and boom worked great

I also had a lot of people ask me about them (they were not common up here in canada ??) and compliments from sound guys
Any guitar I put into it sounded great and cab I used sounded great

Awesome products really

yeah i've sold plenty and regretted it plenty more it seems

but yeah dave was great and the amps were very affordable compared to other builders and sounded top notch

i probably sold it for money not because of any tone issue, i remember when i got the k88 or whatever he called it and first played it for a friend who told me immediately that i shouldn't sell it, knowing that i do sell almost anything, sometimes really really cool shit

he was right, damnit he may not be right about anything else, literally anything, kind of a conspiracy nut and i'm still not sure if he actually believes that the world is flat, but this one thing he was right one

dayum

I had a Baron DHG that I only paid $1000 for. That was like the flagship model because it had both the British and American high gain channels. Nice amp, especially for the price, but I had other stuff that I felt was better, so I traded it. It was more compressed than what I usually prefer

I did though bring it in to the Axe Palace once and Nick (the main guy there) reluctantly said “I admit it, I’m impressed”. I preferred to it to almost everything he had there at the time except the Engl Artist Edition, which I ended up buying, but also eventually traded

Still rocking my K88. Have sold a few that I had as a backup but if I saw another show up for a fair price I'd buy one again.
