This interview got me listening to him
A lot tonight .I still love his playing a lot

His solos don’t burn me out . But his style of songwriting does after the first 3 it just gets weaker and same old shitI think if you listen long enough to any player you can get burned out. That being said, he burns me out faster than most. Amazing player and inspired millions of course. I saw him in 86 and it was pretty cool
Steeler was his 1st album then Alcatraz -pretty sure. His first 3 albums are amazing
I don’t care for the pre solo albums at all. The songwriting is too cheesy for me . I like vinnie more as well . My only problem is ynqwie like to rick still while vinnie has that sterile Shrapnel production. But don’t get me wrong I still play Day Dream and Picture of a Picture a lot to this daySteeler was his 1st album then Alcatraz -pretty sure.
My gripe with Yngw is the use of harmonic minor only. It gets old...........Vinnie Moore will use all kinds of modes invoking various moods and soundscapes to his shred melodies!![]()
Finally made peace with donuts perhaps.Best interview I've seen. He seems a lot happier and friendly lately. Maybe age has somewhat mellowed him.
Ya but his crazy interviews are missed . I loved his guitar world articles where he trashed on pantera to Pearl Jam and more . EVH and John Petrucci were like the only 2 he ever spoke positively ofBest interview I've seen. He seems a lot happier and friendly lately. Maybe age has somewhat mellowed him.
I agree and that is what I mainly meant. His solos don’t burn me out . But his style of songwriting does after the first 3 it just gets weaker and same old shit
