You have $1300, you want a superstrat, what do you?

get? you have around 1300 bucks and you are looking for a cool used superstrat. You want a maple top, and an ebony fretboard, with at least 2 humbuckers. I have been looking for used Ibanez and have not found anything yet. it always seems to be a few hundred more than I have. If you guys were on the market for a used superstrat with a maple top and ebony board, and you had about 1300, what would you be looking for, am I forgetting something cool? What else is there that is used and a quality guitar?

I was going to suggest this. I think USA G&L's are underrated. Very nice guitars, terrible resale

I'd sit tight and look for a USA Jackson or custom ESP to pop up in that range. Might take some patients, but should be able to find it.

Ibanez with an ebony board is not going to be easy.

This. If you look on GC.com used, there is a used Jackson USA, definitely some ESP MI-MII or Mirages, and I think a Charvel Custom shop close to your price. Not sure about ebony boards, and the Jackson is a pointy if it matters.

every G&L i've owned even one I bought a custom pickguard with awesome setup had a weird hum to it.. Even rewired my own guard took out the PTB new pots etc hummmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm wasted thousands on them Nice guitars just hmmmmmmmmmmmm..

Capitol Guitars here in MN Has two Grover Jackson designed BC Rich (don't know if they are technically gunslingers) for areound that price. Played one of them yesterday....beautiful awesome superstrat. i would personally put it in a roth IRA.You'll thank me later.

Got this bad boy with the case for less than $1000.

Used Jackson SLSMG: Super-lightweight mahogany hardtail body, ebony fretboard, neck-through design, EMGs pickups (alternate versions come installed with passive pickups easily swap-able for Seymour Duncans.

These can be found at decent prices on Reverb/eBay. NEVER AGAIN will I overpay for an ESP guitar.
