Look at this trash. As someone who has been a longtime fan - this is so trash. I cannot stand things like this and it just makes Steve somehow less....IDK exactly. Just like the book for $800 or whatever, it is just really offputting.

Well, he and Satriani just did 40 shows together across the US in April and May and he has been out with sort-of King Crimson for a world tour on and off for the last three years, but I doubt most people buying Steve Vai gear are concerned if he´s still relevant to the broader public or not.

Yeah he still sells out medium size gigs across pretty long tour hauls.

It's a great show and the dude still plays his songs pretty much flawlessly. Yes it's cheesy but that's half the point.

Since Dimarzio supplies his cabling for his rigs, I wouldn’t be surprised if there’s something worked out along the lines of “Hey, I’ll give you 1000’ feet of cable if you let me sell a few lengths with your name on it to cover the costs”

He sells out the Parker every time he comes through Ft. Lauderdale, they’re the loudest fucking concerts I’ve ever been to, making Slayer sound like a walkman.

It's backordered so he must've had the right idea.

I have a DiMarzio cable and find it oriented towards being pretty bright and trebly. It's been a good cable otherwise. I'm sure Steve's cable sounds even better with his weird occult symbols and stuff on it. I've thought that guy was kind of a pin head ever since I saw a video where he had lasers mounted to his fretting fingers so I wonder if the cable comes with a complimentary Vai pencil pocket.
