Fuck you man... I've been looking for an '84 custom for FOREVER and I have absolutely never seen one... it's my birth year... the kicker is I'm a lefty :(

Seriously though HNGD... sounds fucking killer man...

I played a friends '82 LP Standard with the original Tim Shaw pickups and it sounded great. Some of if not the most balanced set I've ever played. No drop in volume when switching to the neck. And the bridge has plenty of bite for riffage. As far as your vid, Killertone as usual!

lol best part was the end where you throw your hands up like "I dunno...whatever!"

That sounds great Ang guitar looks awesome. I have an 84 custom as well and it's a keeper for sure!

Thanks! I am digging them, too. A quick height adjustment and I had the perfect balance between neck and bridge.

I never know when I am recording something if it's any good...

Awesome, man. This one beat out several other LPCs I was looking at the day I bought it.

Almost bought an '82 a couple days after I got this one but decided to stay married instead. :D

Yup, love my '84 Custom too. I have a '79 as well but the mahogany neck of the '84 gives it a much thicker meatier sound.

I have 2 '76s with 3 piece maple necks and I love them but I do prefer my Mahogany necked ones ('84,'88, and '89).

Is that the bedroom rig?

Hotel rig! I recorded it in a hotel I was in for the last 3 weeks while I was in LA working.
