Sounds awesome and for the price its unreal. Apologies for my comments made earlier. I really wanted to get a Natas and since only 2 people in the world actually have one (give or take) its a real bitch waiting.

Jason, when's that album gonna make an appearance? Inquiring minds want to know! :m17:

No worries, man. Thrashers are coming...

J, on the run thru vid can you boost the amp with an OD with the onboard boost disabled?

Man you are a sick player. If folks can't hear that this amp will cover Ratt and Dokken ... you aren't listening. Back the gain down a hair from where it is in the vid and you are there. Listen with your ears and not your eyes.

I am interested to see the same setting but playing Bark at the Moon. I bet folks would say it's a good tone for that type of rock. Add a bit of verb and chorus and I bet it would do "Hold the Line" from Toto's lead sound as well.

I agree with this statement

Seriously dig this song and this amp.

2:42 is ridiculous.

You fucking nailed it.

If I used the exact same setting with a Superstrat tuned to E playing some 80s stuff it would work with no problem. I have said that a few times and I truly believe that you would not need to dial this in much different at all for those tones. Like I have said many times, if a player can change his feel up a bit that's half the tone right there. I would not play 80s stuff with the exact same technique I use for the content in the video. Different styles need different approaches and different approaches will lend to different sounds right out of the gate.

that's exactly it...tuned to E that would be 80's high gain...All but one of my guitars are tuned to B but using the same amp setting I use(or very simular)and a guitar tuned to E I can cop ratt, dokken type tones..
I actually prefer less modern sounding amp to do brutal

I do as well. Even in my death metal band, I dialed in more 80's rock/metal tones. I like that sound for just about anything. No matter what amp I was playing through I always got compliments on tone.

Quick question. How would you compare the gain channel on the 45 to the 100? Is it more similar to the first or second gain channel of the 100?

The first channel is the same as the RD45's, the second channel is a bit more modern, with even more gain.

Sort of. The 2nd channel has more gain than the first but there is not a voicing change.

Upon further examination, I have come to the conclusion that Gain ch. 2 is a bit thicker in voicing with a bit more gain.

That sounded killer. Those Duncans sound like a nice match with that kind of amp tone. Was that an original comp you wrote? Had a very cool Megadeth meets LOG vibe. Those would be cool chord changes to try and channel some Marty Friedman.
