Awesome rig, Zach. Sounds very cool.

Thanks... One of my favorite things about it, is it doesn't leave me stuck with just using those amps. I LOVE that I can connect anything to it as easy as plugging in a couple of cables.

Yeah, sounds reasonable.

Any reason that you are using this "old" Marshall poweramp for the fx?

I'm asking because I'm not too happy with VHT poweramps (the input stage is "weird" IMO) anymore and there's a 9005 coming to me this week - I will mod it (a bit) though - for depth. I do like the fact it has the old Drake X-formers . . .

I'm gonna get another Mesa Simul395. I had one, but sold it to get through some tough times. I LOVE that amp!!!

I'm using the Marshall because it's available.

Sorry to hear that.
A Mesa pwr amp is the next to try on my list - they are a bit to much $$$ over here unfortunately.

Sorry for hijacking . . .

No worries... I love the sound of them, and the switch tracking being footswitchable is VERY useful with a switching system. They are freakin heavy though, but I haven't heard a power amp that I like better-- Yet.

Killer tones Zach, makes me GAS again for a 2290!! Do you have anything going on your crunch rhythm tones? Some low level delyas or are they totally dry? Do you have dry in the wet cabs?

If you'd be interested, I could have somebody in Italy look out for an Advance power amp like mine. They are pretty cheap, I paid 450 or so including full check up at Advance, retube and shipping to Belgium. I have good contacts with Advance so they could check it out before shipping it to you. And this power amp EASILY beats any VHT for tone and build! Let me know and I'll put the wheels in motion

For that show I have 3 clean tones programmed (All through the Fender Super Reverb head-- I mainly just use one clean tone though, w/ some TC 2290 Delay, TC1210, Eventide Dyno My Piano Tri-Stereo Chorus, Lexicon PCM80 Plate Reverb).

I have 3 Crunch tones. One is the 50 Watt Cameron Marshall, another is the 100 Watt Cameron Marshall, the other is the MKIII Coliseum on R2. Mostly TC 2290 Dynamic Ducking Delay (On one patch, the other 2 it's just a panning delay- subtle), and some Lexicon Plate or Hall Reverb for the Crunch patches. Another 100 Watt patch-- with just more grease, and the main Lead tone is the Boogie on the lead channel lots of grease (Delay, and Reverb).
