the amp is that little fender super champ xd, and i had it on the tweed dirty channel mode 3 setting, and was also using the amp's built in reverb/delay setting.

can anybody see that first zendrive clip i posted on this thread?

the player's name is brian bunn and he's using a tele, a fender custom shop strat, and a firebird, and his amp is a matchless combo but i forget if it's a chieftain or a dc30...

Both sounded killer....just what i need to pair up with my Cowtipper 90. The tone in the first video rocked!!!

How clean was he running his Matchless?

it was pretty dirty...you can hear him kick off the pedal and still hear some crunch.

he had a bionic expandora, a keeley modded blues driver and metal zone, and the zen, and hopefully you can hear the difference when he bumps between the pedals during soundcheck...the zen is the one highest on his board, the mzone is to the left, the bionic is closest to the bottom, and the keeley is to the right.

Thanks Pat....I wasn't sure if he was running the amp clean and using different pedals for his gain. I definitely heard a difference in both videos.

any idea what he was using the Zendrive for in Carry On?

no and honestly it gets sorta confusing as to what pedal he uses when once he's really jumping around...that concert stuff is mostly just footage the band and the lead player brian bunn in action for the sake of showing alf hermida what these guys are about.

most christian bands try to sound like U2 so it's a pleasant surprise when a band like this comes along and has more of a classic rock vibe ala black crowes/cry of love.

i was running around trying to do some tech stuff for the show as well as pop off some video of the band so i missed filming some of the killer solos he did...his influences range from VH to shawn lane to brad paisley and the kid can PLAY.

Sounds good Braddah Cuz....now demo one of these  ;)

Those Jetter Gain Stage Red's are supposed to be pretty similar circuit wise to a zendrive. It seems to be about 50/50 as to what people prefer on the threads I have read. The Gain Stage is supposed to be smoother.

I love my Zendrive, but I am really curious about the Zendrive Special Edition (SE) which is getting great reviews.

I hear the gsr is a little too close in design to a Zendrive if you catch my drift

Great footage, I love these guys...their new album is pretty rockin' too. I was a HUGE fan of their debut cd. And YES, that guy can play!
