The mayor is now running to Wall Street executives from JP Morgan, Goldman Sachs, and Citadel begging them not to leave after his extreme tax policies triggered a mass exodus.

Rep. Mike Lawler laid it out: “What we’re seeing is the absolute disaster of socialist policies in New York City. Mamdani is making New York unaffordable.
He’s driving businesses and families out. You can’t tax the rich and expect them to stay and pay the bills. They’re going to leave, and that’s exactly what’s happening.”

JP Morgan Chase and Goldman Sachs already employ more people in Texas than in New York. Businesses and families continue fleeing the high taxes, crime, and unaffordable living created by Mamdani, Hochul, and decades of Democrat rule.

This is the predictable result of socialist governance: punish success, watch the producers flee, then desperately try to beg them back. New York is bleeding while America First red states boom

It's not even that. I just saw the updated numbers on Fox Business. The top 1% pay 38% of the taxes. The top 10% pay 70% of the taxes. Granted that may be a nationwide average - but NYC is (used to be) the business capital of the world.
