Yeah I always use the low setting I just didn't know if most people are setting it up dead in front or doing it a little of axis. I know the mics are set up that way but just looking for the optimal way.

I have been experimenting with this unit and I found out it works better off to the side at a 45 degree angle. The first set of experimental recordings was 6 feet away from cabinet on auto record level. This method seem to work better than straight on.
