Time to play guess the amp

Like the title says... I was plugging into ones today and I just "fixed" and lightly modded/revoiced and I was blown away with how it actually sounds.... So much so, I doubt anyone will know what it is... But then I got to thinking, am I just out of touch on these... TIME TO PLAY GUESS THE AMP


Yes... I know jokes etc are coming but I'm curious what guys here in this crap phone recording tone wise/amp wise. 50 feet away from the amp. Oh yea... Amp straight up, no boosts etc.

Really difficult if not impossible to tell from that far away

I'd guess SS or hybrid based on the way the low end behaves though

Definitely not SS or Hybrid. The Lows are where I was working on the most to try and make it have a little more low feel and be less flubby. FWIW, lows are on 2. Just mainly curious what guys think it sounds like and then eventually we will reveal. The G1275's weren't helping but in the room it actually felt surprisingly fun to play. Definitely gig worthy.

FWIW: Empty big steel building so the bass is a little off sounding.

It sounds pretty dang good on my crappy samsung phone actually. My guess is its a boosted big iron fender. Maybe a bassman head or showman. Ill listen to it on my monitors but i gotta handle a few things before i can get to it.

So while it has some DNA to an older Bassman maybe... (clue) It's running NO external nor internal boosts besides standard circuitry..

Warmer... At least from the ones who said Rectifier... Metaltronix. Not bashing the 900 guys... but I have given them chance after chance and owned the 2100, 4100 etc.. never truly delivered for me.
