Buzzing noise coming out of my AMP

Ok so I get buzzing in my amps. I have had 6 different amps and 3 LPC's and 4-5 random guitars all do the same thing.
I know its not my rig, it is the wiring in my house for sure. So I was wondering if anyone else has run into this and what did you do to resolve the issue.
I have tried a Furman power conditioner and that didn't help :(

I got use to it for a while, but its not bothering me again.

you can buy a simple tester to check and see if your grounds are good in any of your outlets. You can get them at lowes, home depot etc. Thats what i did anyway...2 of the outlets in my jam room had bad grounds and 2 others were good to go...ceiling fans mess stuff as well. A good power conditioner is helpful as well. Im sure there is better options as well but that will get you started on finding out what the prob is

I had a bad buzzing/humming problem a couple weeks back. Thought it was my cables....pulled them all out.
Used a brand new cord....nothing in the loop....different guitar...still buzzing.
Played it the last 2 weeks. Zero problems.

Not sure what it was. just went away. Might of been dirty electricity?
Just glad its gone. When I play inside my house (i have older electric wires in the home) it causes a buzz when I use EMG's.

Funny thing is some days it was worse than others for me, turns out that the dimmer light in my dinning room was making it worse while it was on.
Still have the issue with the dimmer light off all the way, but its worse when its on.
I have a feeling that all the grounds in the house are old.
FML!

Cant certain pre-amp tubes if they are failing cause this as well?
I was going to get one of the Hum-X things.....but the problem went away.

I am sure its possible that pre-amp tubes can cause this, but its not because all of my amps have noise.
Even my old solid state

all great suggestions here...i'll add a few more for you to check on:

those new curly light bulbs can wreak havoc on a rig. especially if they're on a dimmer, buteven if not, switch some of them out that are on the same power line as your amps power. or, just turn all the lights OFF in the house and see if that quiets things down.

next, if you have outside dimmer lights installed, and they're on the same line as your amps power...this could be the issue too, mainly when they are turned ON, same with a ceiling fan.

my dining room has a dimmer, with new curly bulbs in them, and it is right above my jam room, but the line for the jam room isn't even on the same line as the dining room. as soon as someone turns on the dining room and i have an amp on, it's buzz city.

how close are you sitting in proximity to your amps? does it change at all if you face away?

60 cycle hum? Great fun. Like others have said, I often need to turn my lights off in the room to quiet things down. I plug-in the rig through a surge protector which does a pretty good job most of the time though.

When I was a kid, I had an old amp/guitar setup that would pick up radio stations and I swear I could feel current in my strings. Maybe I just imagined that tough, heh.

if you read my last post.

i asked 2 questions to try to help you (based on my experiences).

i can't guess what you mean by "it changes".

I sit 4 feet away or so, and if I turn around and face the other way the buzz sounds changes.
Hope that helps

I think I've traced mine down to my 4x12 cab. I eliminated the guitar, effects, the head and the speaker cable through swapping, etc. Took the back off the cab and don't see any loose wires. What else should I check? Could it be the input jack on the cabinet? Also, the speakers are not soldered, they're connected with those clips that slide over the speaker terminals. Could that be an issue?

What about that cheapass plastic input jack on the newer Marshall cabs? Could that be a factor?

this is about the same for me. if i face away, it diminishes. try moving your amp back further, or yourself further from your amp.

it may just be Electromagnetic hum cause you're too close in proximity.

did you try switching off the lights and jamming?
