When Dave Gladden was voicing the first Palmer PDI-03 load-boxes, and flying round the world doing demos for every name guitarist - his test bed was a little powered mixer and a pair of small computer speakers.
He handed me a real ‘59 Les Paul, and plugged it into a Jubilee, then started twiddling.
Life changing moment.

Did you try a hot mod in the Runt yet? Supposed to be epic in that amp.

Yes, I’ve tried the Mr Scary mod in the Runt. It definitely adds some gain. Though I felt it also changed the feel of the amp.
