Thanks! I have a Mesa MK IIC++ DRG that I got from Steve K. before he passed, and it’s amazing! I should just slave that through my Strategy 400, and call it a day!

You are setup perfectly with what you have imo. My first C+ was an SRG and I loved slaving it to my S400 through 4 cabs. My neighbor didn’t however.

Pricing? Well, what would you sell your DRG for? 10k? If so, a Coli is far more rare and an upgraded 2B Coli rarer still.
Amps are worth whatever someone is willing to pay, in the end anyway.

This guy is an admin in a IIC+ group on FB. They like to circle jerk and facilitate completely outlandish prices. After owning and playing dozens of these amps, I can confidently say that none of them are worth spending this much money on. Anyone who says otherwise has a vested interest and their opinion shouldn't be considered.

Get a IV for similar tone and loudness. Get a Schumacher JP2C for closer tone.

Have you ever heard a C+ side by side with those two amps?

I get it; prices are silly. But saying a 2B or a III Coli is ‘just as good’….haha no. Sorry.
My C+ Coli was a 2B prior. I’ve also owned 2 other 2B Coliseums, one with a loop mod. All are great amps, no doubt.
But there are big differences in the clarity, feel when you go to a C+. This is a fact.
Whether or not it’s worth the coin, that’s up to the potential buyer.

The prices these clowns are asking is ridiculous, but there’s a damn good reason a C+ goes for 3x the cash of any other Mark.
