Dude, it's not treasonous to challenge the election. Sure as shit it's treasonous to storm the capitol though.

How old is Australia’s system?
Well our constitution is from 1/1/1901 given that's the date of Australian federation... However it is based on the Westminster system so to say it's 100% minty fresh is kind of deceptive. Anyway, our constitution doesn't try and lock as many things down as yours. There's a lot that it doesn't cover. Canada's system is very similar.

It's only rigged when the democrats lose. The electoral college only needs to be abolished if democrats aren't elected.

I guess they found him man. Hopefully everything is good with your family and friends. Keep us posted.

They did indeed. Pussy took the pussy's way out, but only pussies do this shit to begin with, so that's no surprise.

Friends and family are all accounted for and safe, I appreciate the words.

You'd think finding this guy would give some kind of solace or peace to the situation, but I think it's going to be quite a while before the desire for true justice subsides enough to let this pass. The same small community aspect of Lewiston that is creating that sentiment will be the same thing that pulls them out of it over time, but it's going to be a while.

My brother is up there. He’s about 3 hours from there…. I wasn’t sure of the location so I freaked a little bit till my brother answered my text.

"...it was known that he had mental health issues..."

No shit! People in their right mind don't shoot up the place!

That statement means a bit more in the context of this guy-

His family reported to the police and the Reserves that he was having a serious mental health issue and could be a danger to society. Maine has yellow flag laws which differ from red flag laws in that only an officer can petition to the court for the removal of someone's firearms in the case of a mental health episode, but only after the officer has had the individual checked out by a mental health professional.

For whatever reasons, this reporting did nothing, despite the man threatening to shoot up the Saco Naval base, checking himself into a facility for several weeks and claiming he was hearing voices in his head.

An investigation is occurring now to find out where the failure to uphold responsibility occurred which played a role in 18 innocent people being murdered.

oh for fucks sake.

Do you know more about the topic than Amanda Tyler?

"Amanda Tyler is executive director of BJC (Baptist Joint Committee for Religious Liberty), leading the organization as it upholds the historic Baptist principle of religious liberty: defending the free exercise of religion and protecting against its establishment by government. She is the lead organizer of BJC’s Christians Against Christian Nationalism campaign and co-host of BJC’s Respecting Religion podcast.

Tyler’s constitutional law analysis and advocacy for faith freedom for all have been featured by major news outlets, including The New York Times, The Washington Post, CBS News, ABC News, CNN, and MSNBC. Religion News Service named Tyler one of “2022’s rising stars in religion,” and she regularly preaches in Baptist churches, speaks at denominational gatherings, and leads sessions on college campuses and with community groups of all sizes."

ok-I have not watched the vid. I see a video with a title like that and I am automatically "triggered". I assume it's an attack on patriotic white christians....am I correct in this assumption? and I added white into the mix because that's usually thrown in these discussions eventually. give me the cliff notes and feel free to correct me if I'm wrong.

It's not an attack on patriotic white christians...those people don't want a theocracy here in the United States. Christian nationalists aren't patriots. They want christianity imposed on all the citizens of the U.S. That ain't patriotism.

Amanda Tyler is a white Christian and a patriot because she wants the Constitution to rule our Constitutional republic, not the Church. There are many people of all races opposed to Christian Nationalism, including lots of white people like me. :) We've known about this open movement (NOT a hidden conspiracy) for a long time. A lot of us were exposed to christian nationalism in our churches, that's how it was in my case, so we know the topic firsthand. This is not some tinfoil bullshit. I fucking wish it WAS.
