Also while the tarrif stuff recently seems bad and well Canada and Mexico are like "well we did everything you asked".....
I mean I don't think it really was about stopping the flow of drugs and the border and more about bringing manufacturing back to the US. While drugs and the border are a priority the tariffs seek to tackle that and manufacturing. The tariffs are mainly set to try to bring manufacturing back to the US from the way I look at it and what he is doing.
Maybe it is or isn't the best way but that is the intention and what Trump wants to do. If these countries and others don't want tariffs all they have to do is manufacture in the US again. In that sense that is a good thing and bringing back and promoting manufacturing and investment and making things in America is a good thing.
Maybe if a certain quota in investment is met by Canada and Mexico they can get waivers on tariffs but the whole point is to bring investment, jobs and manufacturing back to America and I'm all for that.
While I like the imported stuff I have to say the best feeling I had was when I bought my Fender Princeton Reverb Reissue. It sounds amazing, it's the best amp I have of have ever had, it's built great and it's made in the US and it felt good to buy American and support jobs and manufacturing here in the States and something I can take pride in. IMO there is nothing wrong with promoting manufacturing, investment and jobs in America and that is what the tariffs seek to do.
