Probably the thing farmers want--I know for certain businesses want--is policy certainty as to what is going on so they can figure out how to navigate the next several months. Until that happens, the market will be in a freefall.

This exactly. Politicians on both sides sat back for 40 years and let corporations outsource the entire US manufacturing business for corporate greed and profits. Now they're trying to blame the other countries for their greediness and our trade deficit. Citizens United is what fucked everything up and needs to be overturned.

Other countries and their whiny spoiled coat tail riding entitlement minded citizens are greedy which is why they are complaining that the playing field is being leveled.
 
One thing everyone should know is that the current Fed Funds Rate at 4.25-4.5 is not enough to fix the inflation problem. Look back at the early 1980s when inflation wasn't as bad as it is today, and what were rates set at? 18% or even higher at times. That's what it took to fix the inflation problem. Jerome Powell is a complete actor and phony -- he has no goal of really fixing inflation. The guy says we need 2% inflation every year as a goal, yet most people do not even realize that this does no good for anyone except the rich. Powell's net worth is 55 million -- he doesn't care about the middle class or poor.

TLDR: The Fed has no intention of fixing the inflation problem we have. Rates would have to be much higher.

We don't even have tariffs on the US - yet the US is charging Tariffs on us. Who is greedy - you buncha selfish pricks...

So far on paper my portoliio has dropped $100k. So fuck Trump and fuck the US and that doesn't include my Superannuation balance - so maybe another $50k

As I've said before we should kick the US out of Pine Gap, close their embassy and send your consular officials and ambassadors home.

I've also mentioned this is why I have an opinion on US politics. We don't get to vote yet your country fucks us up in hip pocket. $150k is real money. Imagine how much equipment you could buy for that.
