Too raspy and the low end is too boomy, even with the tight on when going for higher gain. Wonder what his pickups are like. Would be interesting to hear a generic JB, 59 and or Super Distortion. It still needs a boost IMO, so I’m left with…why?

Also, can anyone else here confirm the 2203X RI are also very hit or miss? I've played through a couple at guitar stores and it either sounded pretty damn good or like raspy shit.

My experience as well.

Pretty sad seeing Ola being positive about the amp, even calling it a JCM800 at its peak. I know he knows better but the dark side of the shill force is strong.
