I haven't been around in a while can someone fill me in on the "neo soul" and "double Kremes" meme. I know one is a genre of music and the other is a reference to a humbucker pickup color, but what is all this madness?

An avalanche of former metal heads have taken great interest in the Neo Soul movement, clean tone, PRS guitars, JAMES TYLER guitars, and associated lifestyle brands. There has been some anger at the loss of VH threads but for the most part people are enjoying the refreshment a change has brought to the board, and into their neo souls. You are welcome to join in the fun.

All races are welcome into the neo-soul-o-verse, especially considering that one of the top makers, Mr. Paul Reed Smith, is extremely white and lives in Maryland of all places. Welcome, brother. :love:

I just don't want to be this guy... especially attempting to the hambone when I did injure myself.

 
This forum has been pretty dead for years other than a couple cliques of turds who hang out and encourage each others buying of $4k plus amps nobody has ever heard of and will be in the guitar center clearance section in 5 years. Neo soul is just more proof of how small and esoteric this place has become. 10 Brootz guys vs 10 80's guys... that is Rigtalk..
