What's your perfect Tone? Have you found it?

Seems like i'm stranded in "Scooped Land" now.
Still plenty of mids compared to a Mesa, even with the mids on zero though.
I'll probably like it for a few days....
It's a sickness at this point. Although some will propably get sick from only listening to it. That's ok.

I like the sound. But put the mids at 10 oclock and rerecord that riff and it probably sounds awesome

Yes. The old Suhr CAE circuits in dual mono mated up to either early 2000’s g12m’s or modern t75’s.

Yep. Perfect Marshall tone. Perfect Recto tone. Perfect dry high gain tone. Perfect Solid-state tone. Perfect super unique retarded tone. That's the great thing about having multiple amps. No one amp does it all unless you go to the digital realm...and I'm not going there again.

I'm pretty close with the Quick Rod and Rectifiers (Dual or Single). Sometimes, I blend in the Diezel mode on my Vypyr 60 for the 'tri tone' but what I really need is a third cab for the Single Rectoverb because it is so different than the Dual and has a wonderful clean channel. But yeah, these amps together are so much better than any one of them by themselves.

Marshall Super Lead is as close as I’ve come. If I could have the dirty chimey clean of the Plexi around 2, the full tilt all on 10, plus an OG 5150 for the max gain, that’s the ticket

I agree. I searched for years for the ONE amp. I found it, then @RedB4Black fucked my world by showing me how powerful amps in stereo can be

I mix my Larry with the Hermanson 5GS 800 and the Hellrazor el34 . I’m def af . The Larry does only loud . It went from killing my ears to now I can crank it and be fine . That means I lost hearing . It’s kinda scary . But it all sounds so good

@Airwave coming into RT hot

I kid. I kid. Welcome to Rig-Talk. Looks like you will fit right in. What took you so long? Where do you normally post? What is that crazy looking mic placement thing on the Bogner cab?

Dude, you are young enough to protect and save your hearing. Don't be like most of us. Get some good plugs. I like the Hearprotek or Eargasms type or even Hearo's for cheap. You'd probably like the Loops.

check out my ear plug review
