If you don't like the Mesa 8 ohm V30's, it may simply be the sound of the momentary contact jack and parallel-series wiring of your Mesa cab.
Rewire it series-parallel with one jack and profit.
SEE ALSO: You need to beat the snot out of those new Eminence for at least 50 hours to see what they can do. 100 is more like it.

I got 4 and put them in a Mesa OS cab, straight out of the box with no break in they sound really close to my VERY broken in Mesa OS from early 2002.

Played it at practice today and it sounded amazing. Not super different from my other guitar players stock Mesa OS cab, but different enough.

I'll be getting these to replace the V30s in my KSR cab. Great recordings. Only cabinet I like the V30s in is my Orange Cabinet. Thats the only cabinet I have liked the V30s in.

sounds great, i like the v30 and Kvore mix best. I think they compliment each other nicely with v30 providing the bite and Kvore the bottom end, thickness and saturation. splendid playing as well.Karnivores came in today! Totally surprise. I never got any shipping notifications, but this morning I got a notification from UPS about an OFD package from Eminence. It could be only one thing!! Well...4 things, I guess haha.
I loaded 2 of them in place of the Redbacks in my Mesa OS cab. These things are cool as shit! They sound super aggressive and tight. Lots of saturation. More balanced than the bigness that the RBs have. Seems weird not having RBs, since those are my initials haha. Anyway...Here are some initial clips. Relatively low volume since it's 230 AM lol.

That cat is old and deaf, and super sweet. She belonged to my mom, who passed in 2019. I took 3 of her cats, and my other guitar player took this one.
